She grew up attending school and graduated from the Albia High School with the Class of 1945.Īdrienne Joyce Williams, age 96, of Hiteman, IA, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at the Oskaloosa Care Center in Oskaloosa, IA.Īdrienne was born on April 7, 1927, at home in Lucas County to Almon Leroy and Mable (Manley) McCann. On February 21, 1945, she was united in marriage to James Edward "Ed” Williams in Albia and to this union, 4 children were born, Lorraine, Geraldine, Ed and Wayne. Adrienne and Ed shared 58 years of marriage prior to Ed’s passing on July 13, 2003.Īdrienne was a devoted and proud farm wife and homemaker. She took care of all of the livestock even after Ed went to work. She later worked at the Albia Sale Barn Cafe, Pat Peterson Vet Clinic and Hardees.Īdrienne was very talented and enjoyed sewing and embroidering. ![]() She enjoyed being outdoors and raising peacocks. She was an excellent baker, known for her chocolate cake and brownies. Above all else, Adrienne loved her family and cherished all of the time she spent with them, especially her children and grandchildren.Īdrienne is survived by 2 daughters, Lorriane (Art) Scholtus of Ottumwa and Geraldine Wiggins of Albia 2 sons, Ed (Joyce) Williams and Wayne (Diana) Williams, both of Hiteman 9 grandchildren, Jim Beaumont, Loree Scholtus, Jody (Josh) Buckingham, Weslee Scholtus, Brian (Nicole) Pumphrey, Jerry (Steph Allgood) Beaumont, Wayne Scott (Amanda) Williams, Brandon (Steph) Williams, and Kenny (Brenna) Williams 14 great grandchildren, Meredith Beaumont, Lily and Beau Buckingham, Ben Pumphrey, Jayse, Slayton, and Steely Beaumont, McKenna, Dominic and Alli Williams, Quinn and Ridge Williams, and Kane and Brody Williams and 3 step-grandchildren, Lisa Morgan and family, Lori (Frank) Nelson and family, and Matt (Erin) Wiggins and family. ![]() She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.Īdrienne was preceded in death by husband, Ed Williams her parents, Almon and Mable McCann siblings, Patricia Currie, Eileen Biermann, Marjorie Ramey, Delmar McCann, and John McCann and a son-in-law, Mark Wiggins. ![]() We, the Serenity Team, strive to meet and exceed your expectations and are honored to do so.Visitation will be held from 3:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Regardless of the type of farewell chosen, we will make it an honorable experience for your loved one.
